General information

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) 🔬 are EU-funded fellowships designed to support postdoctoral researcher’r professional development. These grants allow researchers to carry out innovative research projects in any scientific area and work in prestigious institutions both in Europe and the rest of the world, depending on the modality of the chosen call (European or global).

MSCA-PF Handbook

  • This document is not an official guide, unlike the previous document, but it is produced by MSCA-NET, a project funded by the European Union to help applicants prepare their proposals for MSCA-PF grants.

  • In this handbook, you will find additional information as well as more practical tips and examples for the preparation of the proposal.

  • The updated version for the 2025 call has not yet been published; it is usually published from June onwards.

CORDIS database

  • CORDIS is a database of all projects funded by the European Commission’s research programmes.

  • Here, you can see if they have funded projects that may be similar to your project idea. It can help you avoid repeating yourself with other projects that have already been funded.

MSCA Green Charter

  • It is a code of good practice for all beneficiaries of MSCA funding, both individuals and institutions, as all MSCA projects must promote the integration of environmental considerations into all aspects of project implementation.

MSCA Guidelines on Supervision

  • This document provides guidelines for researcher supervision in the MSCA programme. The text details the roles and responsibilities of supervisors, researchers, and participating institutions, emphasising effective supervision as a crucial element of successful research and the professional development of MSCA-PF grantees.
